Day 1 – Arrive Bali
Touch down on the Island of the Gods and step straight into an atmosphere scented with frangipani and salt air. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. As evening falls, gather with your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner that marks the beginning of your Journey.
Note: if you wish to spend more time in Sanur, ask your Personal Vacation Manager about the optional hotel extension – which will add one night to your Bali hotel stay.

Day 2 – Bali
After a morning to ease into island rhythm, set off in the late afternoon for Uluwatu, Bali's legendary clifftop temple standing sentinel 70 meters above the crashing Indian Ocean, watched over by its resident long-tailed macaques. As the sun begins its slow descent, take your seat for the mesmerizing Kecak Dance — a chorus of chanting performers bringing the ancient Ramayana epic to life against a sky ablaze with color. We then make our way to the shore for a seafood barbecue beneath the stars. For the curious, it's the perfect chance to taste local favorites like kangkong (Indonesian water spinach) or sambal, the country's beloved chili sauce.

Day 3 – Bali
Journey to the village of Batubulan for the Barong, Bali's most celebrated dance-drama, where the lion-spirit Barong locks in eternal battle with the demon queen Rangda. Continue to Tirta Empul, the revered water temple where Balinese worshippers have bathed in sacred spring waters for over a thousand years. After lunch, wind along scenic backroads to Tegallalang, home to some of the island's most photographed emerald rice terraces, pausing at a hillside coffee plantation to see traditional brewing methods and enjoy a sample against sweeping valley views. The day draws to a close at Ubud Monkey Forest, where 14th-century temple ruins lie entwined in jungle and long-tailed macaques roam freely, followed by a stroll through a local market and a visit to Ubud Palace, still home to Bali's royal family today.
Note: While visiting temples on Days 2 through 4, please dress respectfully by covering your shoulders and knees. Sarongs are traditionally required for temple entry and are typically available to borrow or rent at each temple entrance.

Day 4 – Bali
After a morning at leisure, set out for Pura Taman Ayun, the 17th-century royal temple of Mengwi, its multi-tiered shrines rising from lotus-filled ponds within a moat-encircled park. From there, continue to the iconic Tanah Lot—arguably Bali's most photographed temple, perched dramatically on a sea-sculpted rock outcrop shaped by centuries of crashing waves. As the sky turns gold, savor dinner overlooking Tanah Lot and the open sea before returning to your hotel in Sanur.

Day 5 – Bali
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, you will discover the timeless art of Indonesian batik in a hands-on workshop led by a skilled local artisan. Batik is one of Indonesia's most treasured cultural traditions, renowned for its intricate patterns, vibrant colors, and centuries-old techniques. Today offers a welcome pause in your Journey—a chance to slow down, breathe, and immerse yourself in a gentler rhythm. During this hands-on experience, you will learn about the history and symbolism behind batik before being guided through the traditional wax-resist painting process. Create your own unique design on fabric using authentic tools and techniques, with expert instruction provided every step of the way. Your finished piece is yours to take home—a one-of-a-kind souvenir and a lasting reminder of your days in Bali. The remainder of the day is yours to spend as you please.

Disembark the Celebrity Millennium and step ashore into Singapore, a dazzling city where centuries-old traditions meet futuristic ambition. With your guide, visit iconic Merlion Park for its views over the Marina Bay skyline, then wander the vibrant streets of Little India and the heritage-rich lanes of Chinatown. Following lunch at a local restaurant, discover the botanical wonder of Gardens by the Bay, including the lush Flower Dome and the mist-shrouded Cloud Forest with its towering indoor waterfall. Your evening is free to explore this captivating city at your own pace.

Day 18 – Singapore
Check out of the hotel transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Note: If you wish to spend more time in Singapore, ask your Personal Vacation Manager about the optional hotel extension—which will add one night to your Singapore hotel stay.

More Information
What to Know Before You Go
The land portion of the trip should be considered active and includes a considerable amount of walking.
Guests should be prepared for walking at a leisurely pace during site visits, with some areas requiring extra caution due to cobblestones or natural terrain. Additionally, visits to temples often include steps, some of which may be steep or irregular. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Enrichment Journeys will do everything in our power to ensure comfort through our third-party providers, including air-conditioned buses and comfortable accommodations where applicable. However, some areas cannot be accessed by coach, so our drivers will get you as close to sites as is legally allowed. Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are strongly recommended. Historical sites often do not have elevators, escalators, or ramps due to the age of the building/structure. Steps can be steep and uneven. Based on crowds and traffic, order of visits may be changed. You may have to walk a moderate distance to transfer to coach stations and airport terminals. Time spent on the road and traveling can be long, so you will need to be prepared for stretches of down time in between destinations.
Wheelchair access at many sites is limited. A fold-up wheelchair may be able to be stored on the bus but requires prior arrangements. Guests must be able to transfer from their chair to the transportation. Guides/drivers are not allowed to lift or push wheelchairs, so guests requiring physical assistance must travel with a companion who can assist. Motorized wheelchairs and scooters cannot be accommodated on this group program.
Included airfare is from select airports only. To inquire about a different airport, please contact your Personal Vacation Manager.
Enrichment Journeys is committed to providing remarkable experiences at extraordinary value. As a result, airlines and routes are selected to maximize that value and may involve multiple stops and extended layovers versus non-stop or direct flights. Passengers wishing to utilize specific carriers, direct/non-stop flights, Business Class upgrades, or to extend their time in any of our beginning or ending destination cities may do so by contacting Enrichment Journeys and inquiring about the Custom Airfare Program. There is a $100 per person charge for this service, however this charge will be applied toward any flights or upgrades you choose to purchase. The $100 charge must be paid prior to receiving a custom air quote.
To travel internationally, you must have a passport in good condition, and it must be valid for at least 6 months after the last day of your trip. Visa requirements change frequently and for various reasons. As a result, our Personal Vacation Managers are not always able to provide visa information. The best way to obtain up-to-date information regarding visa requirements is to visit the official US government website for Americans traveling abroad, Travel.State.Gov (Canadian citizens should visit https://travel.gc.ca/, for all other countries please visit your government website or local embassy), which details specific information on the countries you would like to visit, including visa requirements. You may also use a third-party visa service, such as Expedited Travel. These services require an additional service fee but make the process of applying for a visa much simpler.
To extend a hotel stay at the beginning or end of your Journey, please speak to a Personal Vacation Manager for assistance in making those arrangements.
If you are interested in customizing your Journey, pairing it with a different cruise, or arranging a private tour for your party, you may be interested in our Private Journeys program. You can learn more about this program here, or speak to a Personal Vacation Manager for more information.
