In the morning, meet with your guide for your transfer to the coastal area, and a visit to a winery with wine tasting and lunch included, and then a brief city tour of Valparaiso & Viña Del Mar before embarking your ship. Recently named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, your tour of Valparaiso will include Errazuriz Avenue, the harbor, the Promenade and Prat Pier, Sotomayor Square, the Custom building, Portales Beach and the Membrillo Fishermen cove, the Playa Ancha district with the Naval Academy. If time allows, ascend via one of the funiculars to the Gervasoni and Atkinson Promenades with XIX century aristocratic mansions overlooking the harbor. The adjacent city of Viña del Mar was created in XIX Century by the breaking up of farm owned by a prominent family and slowly converting it to an attractive town – today a popular resort on the South Pacific coast of South America.
